Meet Candy Gatewood, the visionary owner behind Gristmill Antiques. With an unwavering passion for preserving the past, Candy has curated a haven for vintage enthusiasts and history buffs alike. Her keen eye for detail and impeccable taste have transformed Gristmill Antiques into a wonderland of unique artifacts, each with a story waiting to be uncovered. 

A true devotee of all things vintage, Candy’s journey began as a young collector, with her husband, Jack Grunder, more than 25 years ago. They cultivated their shared love of the past by scouring flea markets and estate sales for hidden gems. Over the years, their love for antiques evolved into a lifelong pursuit, leading them to establish Gristmill Antiques in 2012. Although Jack has since passed on, Candy’s love of their shared passion and her commitment to authenticity and quality shines through every piece within her charming emporium.

Candy’s dedication extends beyond the walls of Gristmill Antiques. She’s an active advocate for preserving heritage and historical significance within the community.  Her expertise and warm demeanor make her a sought-after resource with antique enthusiasts.
